
The membership of the Kensington and Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation has voted against proposals at an extraordinary general meeting to remove the chairman of the board and the chairman of the Audit and Performance Review Committee.
The results of the ballot were announced today (Friday 15th August). The total number of ballots counted by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, which acted an independent election administrators, were 674, representing a 14 per cent turn out.
The voting for the resolutions was:

In a statement TMO said: “This was the result the members of the board wished for. The TMO feels the EGM was a waste of time and money because the membership had voted to reject similar motions at another EGM in March.
“The conduct of some TMO members at the meeting was deplorable and unacceptable, and included a number of false allegations against individuals. We will be communicating with members to set the record straight.”
