Your caretaker

  • Your caretaker is committed to providing a quality inspection service for all contractors and cleaners that operate in your neighbourhood.
  • Your caretaker will monitor the cleaning service to communal areas, removing bulk rubbish and graffiti.
  • Your caretaker will provide a routine check on security systems (CCTV cameras and door entry systems) to see that they are functioning and order repairs where necessary.
  • Your caretaker will inspect the work of grounds maintenance contractors that involves grass cutting, shrub bed maintenance and tree surgery. Contractors will be called to account where service standards are not attained.
  • Your caretaker will report abandoned vehicles in order to arrange removal. Your caretaker will report acts of vandalism and other examples of anti-social behaviour to the TMO Housing Officer and the Police so that action against those responsible can be considered.
  • Your caretaker will also work closely with your residents’ association. Caretakers will participate in regular estate walkabouts with residents’ association representatives to work in partnership with them to monitor progress and maintain standards.
