Heating charges

The estimated costs for providing heating power for district heating and hot water systems are based on previous accounts in conjunction with energy efficiency data. They are not charged to you if your property is served by an individual heating system rather than a communal system.

Heating Repairs – The repair, renewal and maintenance of the district heating system to which you may be connected, calculated on the basis of previous accounts and planned major works and repair schemes.

Heating & Power Cyclo-Control System – Provision of the cyclo-control system associated with the district heating system.

Boiler Electricity – Electricity usage associated with the heating system.

Boiler Gas – Gas usage associated with the heating system.

Boiler Insurance – Insurance premiums relating to the heating system as estimated by the Council in conjunction with their insurers.
