Service charge elements

Several descriptions of the elements of the service charge are listed below with details of what they relate to. Whenever the estimated charges for the year and the final accounts are issued to leaseholders, they will also receive a glossary of terms to assist them in reading the accounts. Where not specifically mentioned, the calculations are based on previous actual costs incurred over at least a 3-year period, taking into account any known differences to the buildings or estates or services that may affect those calculations in the future.
