If you are having problems with debt, the most important thing is to face it. Writing down your income and outgoings is a start. It will help you organise your finances and see how much you have to spend each week. Lots of organisations provide information packs that can help with this. To download a pack from National Debtline, please visit their website.
You don't have to deal with your debt problem alone. Whether you prefer to talk to someone on the telephone or see someone face to face, there are local and national organisations that can provide free help and advice. Your Housing or Leasehold Management Officer can talk to you about your rent and / or service charges and put you in touch with a debt advisor.
To contact your Housing Officer, please call Freephone 0800 137 111, or email: ContactUs@kctmo.org.uk
To contact your leasehold Management Officer, please contact Leasehold Services One Stop Shop on 020 7605 6464, or email: LeaseholdServices@kctmo.org.uk.
