Residents' Panel

The TMO aims to build better neighbourhoods and deliver excellent customer service, but to do this we need to find out from you how we are doing so far, and what you would like us to improve. One of the ways we will do this is through a new Residents Panel.

Picture of a group of residents at the Residents Panel LaunchMembers of the panel will be given the chance to take part in activities such as focus groups, telephone surveys and mystery shopping. By joining the Residents' Panel, you will able to directly influence and be involved in the changes and decisions that affect your neighbourhood.

Panel Members will be entered into a Free Annual Prize Draw. We will also refund reasonable travel expenses, childcare and carer’s cost.

We would like the areas Residents Panel to reflect the wide community we serve. Therefore, people from all sectors of the community are encouraged to apply, especially young people (age 16+), residents with disabilities and black and minority ethnic residents.

Throughout the year, we will present the findings of the Residents Panel to you, and deliver continually improving services that meet your needs.

So far the Panel has:

  • carried out Mystery Shopping on the Customer Contact Centre
  • carried out a TMO Link telephone survey
  • been involved in the TMO's Eqaulity Impact Assessment
  • taken part in an allocation focus group.
